And so the final day on Naoshima arrived way to fast, and somehow started with a slight hangover… Still, we had a nice slow start into the day and went to the Benesse Museum. A really funky, museum, the architecture once again amazingly working with the scenery and the art, you can just stresslessly brisk through the different rooms discover like a child all sorts of extraordinary pieces (don’t miss the Klein Venus). There’s plenty of natural light, the whole museum is spacious with plenty of hidden spots. A must see…
Well all good things need to end at some point and after a quiet afternoon, enjoying the fresh air it was time to get back to Tokyo… But I will definitely remember this trip, we were gone for three days but it felt we lost track of reality for a week…
