Friday night to say goodbye to everyone, we went to an all you can eat barbecue place… and as good foreigners we ate all we could!! until our belly is tight and thought of grilled meet made us sick!! We even had some “flying camel (ostrich) on land” I promised that’s what the menu said!!! it was so nice to see people in this smoky atmosphere! Thanx Lindsy, Claire, Sam, Ann-Magritt, Simon and Wayn for coming!!!!

Yes I have been on top of taipei 101 the tallest building in the world!! And Jackie O was with me! Jackie is the canadian girl taking my room. She is nice but I have to hate her cause she’s taking my room snif snif!!!! Cheers for the time we spend together, enjoy Taiwan, go to the fabric market have fun with the roomies…

Yes one last ladies night at the Monkey for the Claires! Of course Claire took ages to get ready… which means I drank beer while waiting! We arrived at 11, and since ladies night ends at 12 we drank all we could before that! then somebody shouted us shots of tequillas! Oh dear… after that it gets a little blury… I think the Claires were a little bit naughty that night!!! Haha! It was quite fun!!! I shall remember that night… well parts of it anyway!!!

Thursday evening with Tim, the American radio animator! We went to xindian it’s at the end of the green line there’s a pretty bridge and little bars and cafe. We enjoyed a nice pizza with some gin tonic, while admiring a lovely haunted house on the other side of the river!!

Thursday lunch at the Corean restaurant with the beautiful ladies of la ME (Jacqueline, Sylvie, Emma et Christine) It was a nice diner with fun jokes, gossip, food and laughter! I miss you Girls!!!
Taiwan is a small island, Taipei is a small city. Sometimes it feels a bit like you’re living in some sort of airport, people coming and going. No one comes to Taiwan, you go there and you move on. I guess that’s how it is, but it’s still sad. I haven’t said goodbye so many times in my life… I hope we’ll keep in touch…
This time it’s my turn to move on…

Nico (a colleague intern from the french trade) spent his last night in Taipei with us at Metro 23, a cozy trendy bar in dunhua. So we had gin tonic mojito and a good time! Jacqueline had fun teasing Vincent and Sylvie was surprisingly surround by men!!! hmmm… Christine got grounded by her mum for staying up late… Arg the Taiwanese parents they can never quite let go!
Most of all I hope Nico had a good time… but he was mostly thinking about his flight to Japan and of course Naoko (not sure about the spelling)!

The Boys are going back home for some holidays!!! So It involved going out shopping for Chinese gifts. Packing, heavy suit case, stress and taxi ride to the airport… I miss you guys!
